چکیده
Abstract Identifying suitable habitats for endangered species is critical in order to promote their recovery. However, conventional distribution models (SDMs) need large amounts of labeled sample data learn the relationship between and environmental conditions, are difficult fully detangle role environment species, which very sparsely distributed have heterogeneity. This study’s first innovation used semi-supervised model accurately simulate with a small size. The performance was compared three SDMs, namely Maxent, generalized linear model, support vector machine. Applying Populus euphratica (P. euphratica) lower Tarim River basin (TRB), Northwest China. results showed that exhibited better than SDMs an accuracy 85% when only using 443 P. samples. All developed smaller sizes exhibit worse prediction habitat suitability areas while still excellent. mainly near river channel TRB, accounting 13.49% study area. has enormous land potential restoration . here can be evaluate size, provide basis conservation species.

Effects of sample size on accuracy of species distribution models
Given increasing access to large amounts of biodiversity information, a powerful capability is that of modeling ecological niches and predicting geographic distributions. Because, sampling species’ distributions is costly, we explored sample size needs for accurate modeling for three predictive modeling methods via re-sampling of data for well-sampled species, and developed curves of model impr...

15 صفحه اولa study on thermodynamic models for simulation of 1,3 butadiene purification columns
attempts have been made to study the thermodynamic behavior of 1,3 butadiene purification columns with the aim of retrofitting those columns to more energy efficient separation schemes. 1,3 butadiene is purified in two columns in series through being separated from methyl acetylene and 1,2 butadiene in the first and second column respectively. comparisons have been made among different therm...
Effects of sample size on the performance of species distribution models
A wide range of modelling algorithms is used by ecologists, conservation practitioners, and others to predict species ranges from point locality data. Unfortunately, the amount of data available is limited for many taxa and regions, making it essential to quantify the sensitivity of these algorithms to sample size. This is the first study to address this need by rigorously evaluating a broad su...
متن کاملBayesian Determination of Sample Size in Longitudinal Studies with Binary Responses Using Random Effects Models
Sample size determination is important in all statistical studies including longitudinal studies. This is usually done by considering a target power to reduce the costs of sampling. Choosing the right sample size using efficient methods, ensures that the researcher achieve goal of the study, by spending the least amount of energy, time and money. In this article, using a method based on simulat...
